The aim of this study was to investigate the predictive value of low SMM for postoperative complications in clinically T1 –2 oral cavity cancer patients undergoing selective neck dissection. A retrospective study in clinically T1–2 oral cavity cancer patients who underwent selective neck dissection between 2011 and 2017 was performed. The predictive value of low SMM for the occurrence of postoperative complications and prolonged hospital stay was evaluated.
